Sub-contracted through Kingston CAD Solutions to structurally verify a new pipe bridge.
We calculated permanent and imposed loads using the relevant EC3 factors. Consideration to local geographical parameters including wind. The pipe bridge was particularly vulnerable to side wind loads. The structure was verified. A truss system was chosen to maximise and minimise cost.
The client received a structure that was 'fit-for-purpose' and cost effective.
Ensuring the structural integrity and safety of lifting frames in
PME conducted structural analysis and weld strength verification for Simonstone Engineering's oven lifting frames, ensuring compliance with EN13155 and enhancing operational safety.
Comprehensive structural verification of a buried stainless pipe
We conducted structural verification of a 316 stainless steel buried pipe, calculating earth and surface loads, hoop stress, and ring buckling to ensure design reliability under varying conditions.
